Jeremie, Venture Capital Fund managed by Invercaria SGCR, Caixa Capital Risc, La Caixa's Private Equity subsidiary and the Reference Shareholders have invested in Ingeniatrics Tecnologías S.L.'s first fund-raising round EUR 1.66 million. They intend to position Ingeniatrics as a leading company in the development of microfluidic technology and associated technologies for Pharma, Biotech and Fine Chemicals.
The funds will be invested in the development and construction of a brand-new Flow Focusing® microencapsulation demonstration plant. The plant is laid out with three clean rooms FF/liquid-gas, FF/liquid-liquied, Flow Blurring; which scales-up Ingeniatrics' capacity to provide solutions and to manufacture microencapsulates to an industrial stage for some applications and to pre-industrial stage in some others. +info
