_ Handle the liquid input tube gently. A hard pull can damage the nebulizer.
_ Liquid samples must be pumped to the nebulizer by a peristaltic pump or similar device. It is recommended to use suitable peristaltic pump tubings (selection based on the application type) together with proper maintenance (periodic replacement).
_ At low liquid-uptake flows rates, the peristaltic pump speed largely affects the stability of the nebulizer. Select a tubing size that allows the pump to run at medium/high speed when working at low liquid-uptake rates.
_ OneNeb Nebulizers work at low/moderate pressures. Special safety connections and auxiliary argon gas supplies are unnecessary.

_ Although no special washing protocol is required, it is particulary important to rinse the nebulizer after a session, before turning the plasma off. Rinse with pure water (or, if it is necessary, with a proper cleaning solution before water) for a few minutes and allow the nebulizer to dry before turning off the gas (only a few seconds).
To maintain optimum performance, routine soaking of the nebulizer in proper solvents is recommended on a weekly basis.
